Cutting permit

In order to ensure the sustainability of city's green areas, trees, bushes, etc. need to be maintained and trees that are ailing, dried or unsuitable from a design point of view need to be cut. Tallinn Environmental Department processes cutting or maintenance applications submitted by owners of registered immovables and issues appropriate permits.

Write an informal application (sample) or fill out the form that is available here.

What to do with the form
Send to keskkonnaamet [ät] tallinnlv.ee. The application processing period is one month.
 
Result
The permit is issue from the information room at Vabaduse väljak 7 or a written denial will be sent. All cutting permits will be in the Database of Cutting Permits. Note. Print-outs in the Database of Cutting Permits are not sufficient to execute the cutting.
 
What to do when the result is unsatisfactory:
Write an application to the head of Tallinn Environmental Department.
