The Nature Protection Act enables to protect valuable natural features both on national and local level. On the one hand, organisation of nature protection on local level means cooperation with the organizers of protection on national level, because prevailing part of Tallinn's valuable natural features are under national protection and on the other hand it means protecting natural features important for Tallinn on city level.
