Changing the residence address in the population register


A resident of the city shall attend to the authenticity of their address and the address of their minor children and wards in the population register.If you have changed your address, you must notify the nearest office administering the city’s population register of your new residence address within 30 days.The notice of residence form is provided in Annex 1 (.pdf). This form must also be used upon moving abroad or returning from a foreign country. Statistical data can be given on the back of the form. The notice of residence can be submitted digitally (confirmed by a digital signature).see: Instructions for filling out the notice of residence

  • We advise you to provide a contact telephone number along with the notice of residence, so that we could inform you immediately of any problems that occur upon entering the residence address into the population register;
  • Information concerning the entry of the data into the population register can also be obtained from the AS Andmevara website.
