Notice by digital signature


Notice of residence confirmed by a digital signature (only for citizens of Tallinn)

  1. In order to submit a notice of residence confirmed by a digital signature, one must have an ID Card and a computer set up according to the instructions provided on the website http://www.id.ee/.
  2. The grey fields of Annex 1 (.rtf) to the notice of residence form must be filled (the grey fields can be cleared by using the space bar) according to the agenda below and subsequently saved.
  3. The saved notice of residence file must be confirmed by a digital signature (resulting in a .ddoc file), taking into account the following:
  • a digital signature must be provided by all adults listed in the notice of residence;
  • if the use of a dwelling is based on consent given by the owner of the dwelling, the owner must also provide the notice of residence with their digital signature;
  • if the notice of residence has annexes (e.g. a copy of the lease contract), the annexes must be placed in the same “container” as the notice of residence and signed.
  1. The notice of residence confirmed by a digital signature must be sent in the form of an e-mail attachment to the following address: pppsa [ät] tallinnlv.ee
  2. The citizen environment of theState Portal provides the environment for the transaction of affairs, with the mediation of which one can electronically perform a number of the things, for which previously one had to fill in the papers, attend the place and spend a lot of time. The service environment is in Estonian language.
