Because of its good natural and other advantages (seaside beach, river, the yachting port and other possibilities for sports, extensive green areas), this is one of the most prestigious districts in Tallinn. There are no mention-worthy industrial objects. Single family houses are the main type of building. Due to extensive areas with no buildings this is a good reserve area for the building of small houses like in Haabersti.
