Art classes

Educational activities in extra-curricular activity schools are based on curricula approved by the Ministry of Education and Research. Choreography and dance classes are part of the sports curriculum.

Art classes are part of the music and art curriculum.

The purpose of art classes is to provide art-specific knowledge and skills, enrich fantasy, and support the creativity of young people, which benefits every aspect of their lives. Deep learning in the field of art is offered by Tallinn Art School, where the approved curriculum establishes a main study period of four years.

There are two price lists for Tallinn’s municipal extra-curricular activity schools:

1. for the students of the City of Tallinn and Tallinn’s contractual local government units and
2. for students whose local government of residence is not a contractual partner of the City of Tallinn.
