Nomination of a sports club to receive the sports activity benefit

The athlete with active legal capacity, or the legal representative of an athlete (usually a parent) should specify electronically or in an application, to which sports club or school the support for sports activities from the budget of the city of Tallinn should be allocated. This confirmation should be given also in case the athlete is included in the list of only one sports club or school. The support for sports activities is intended for sports clubs and schools for organizing the sports activities of 7 to 19-year-old children, adolescents and disabled athletes and individuals with permanent incapacity for work (at least 40%), who are the residents of Tallinn.

  • Designate your or your child’s sports club in Tallinn’s e-service portal.
    PLEASE NOTE! The confirmation of a sports club must be performed for each successive year in the period between 1 October and 1 December.
    When a switch between sports clubs takes place, a new confirmation is to be made on an ongoing basis, and the confirmation is to be revoked upon leaving the sports club.

    Personal identification

    An ID-card or Mobile-ID may be used to log into the portal.

    Result

    Confirmation by an amateur with an active legal capacity or the amateur’s representative (usually the parent) is the precondition for the sports club or school to receive the sports activity benefit that is allocated from Tallinn’s budget.

    What to do when the result is unsatisfactory:

    In case you are planning to change the sports club or if you have other questions, contact Tallinn Sports and Youth Department

  • Where it is not possible to give the confirmation via the Internet, you should come to the Tallinn Sport and Youth Department (address Juhkentali 12, entrance at the corner of Staadioni and Herne streets, information telephone 640 4585) and submit an application.
