Idea collection ended 14.04.2025

The idea collection form was open from March 25th to April 14th

Fresh and original ideas were submitted by citizens to enrich the urban space and to create a more user-friendly and pleasant environment.

"A City Created Together 2025" is your opportunity to create something special and unique!

The following questions will help you refine your idea:

  • What is a suitable title for your idea?
The title of your idea should briefly reflect the content of the idea and be engaging so that it invites others to explore the idea and learn more about it. Be creative!
  • What is the purpose of your idea?
Try to describe as precisely as possible what the content of your idea is, what you want the city to build on your initiative? Don't be general, but provide as much information as you can. If you dream of a specific object, describe the elements, materials, colors, size, uses, etc. All this will help the idea evaluators and later the voters better imagine what they are voting for. If you know of references to similar objects in other cities or countries, be sure to add them! If you can, draw a picture or sketch yourself. If you use photos found on the internet, don't forget the copyright and be sure to include a reference.
  • What added value does your idea provide to the urban space and community?
Describe whether your idea will help make the surrounding area cleaner, more exciting, cozier, greener or more accessible, and how will this affect people's satisfaction with their living environment? How will the community accept the change?
  • Is there a suitable location for implementing the idea?
A suitable location is a land area that is publicly available. The easiest way is if the land belongs to the municipality. Using private land is also possible, but the landowner must give permission and confirm that access to the object being built is guaranteed. Depending on the object, it is also important to know what restrictions apply to the land area and whether it is possible to build something there. Land and Spatial Development Board's map applications are a great help in finding information. Don't worry if it seems too complicated, during the initial check of the ideas, specialists in their field will definitely assess these circumstances.
  • Who is the idea aimed at?
Think carefully about who the target audience for your idea is. Do they need the proposed facility and why? Will the facility be used by everyone else? The better you explain the necessity and importance of your idea, the greater the chance that it will make it to the final vote.
  • Is there enough money to implement the idea?
Yes, it is very difficult to estimate the cost of implementing an idea. However, it is necessary to remain realistic and think about whether the proposed object can be built for around 100 - 120,000 euros. For example, a playground can be built, but not a stadium.
  • Are you ready to publicly introduce and justify your idea?
All ideas that reach the referendum also go through a public presentation round. During the presentation, the author of the idea has the opportunity, if desired, to introduce their idea and justify its necessity, as well as answer questions from those present.

Once these questions have been worked out, you are ready to participate in the inclusive budget process!
