On October 7th, a new cluster manager, Mariann Lugus, joined the Estonian Digital Construction Cluster team.
The main responsibilities of the managing director will be the day-to-day management of the organization and the implementation of the Cluster’s new strategy. Mariann will be dedicated to managing the Cluster full-time.
Mariann Lugus has extensive experience in building and developing various networks. She has previously worked as the Secretary General of the Estonian Travel and Tourism Association, as the Head of International Marketing for Higher Education at the Archimedes Foundation, where she led the Study in Estonia cooperation platform for the Ministry of Education and Research and higher education institutions, and as the Manager of the Conference Center in the Real Estate Department of TalTech.
“The systematic and increasingly intelligent use of data is the foundation for productivity growth in every field. In construction, where new value is typically created for long-term use, its impact is especially significant. Digitalization and the adoption of new technologies enable successful operations for everyone involved in the entire long life cycle of a building. It’s not only an inevitable future but actually already a reality,” says Mariann.
“I believe that Cluster members greatly value the experiences and opportunities gained through joint activities so far, and I sincerely wish to contribute to creating new value for the members,” Mariann adds.
