Cluster overview:
The objectives of the Wood Industries Cluster are to promote joint marketing and develop the image of the sector through the website estoniantimber.ee, Estonian Forest and Wood Industries Woodbook, social media, trainings, development projects and studies, but also to enhance the sector-related education. The cluster aims to develop domestic and international new business opportunities among and for its members.
Looking for:
The Wood Industries Cluster welcomes all offers of cooperation that will help to develop wooden products, projects or services, both on local and international level and support internationalization of Estonian companies in the field.
Competence fields:
- primary resources and availability;
- promotion of use of timber as a renewable and environmentally friendly raw material in wooden products as well as in energy sector;
- quality of forest- and wood-related education;
- value chain efficiency of the Estonian forest sector.
Cluster members:
The Wood Industries Cluster is led by the Estonian Forest and Wood Industries Association, uniting to the cluster 15 partners – 13 companies and 2 R&D institutions. The overview of the partners can be found here.
