Advance voting at the voter's place of residence

If a voter wishing to vote outside the constituency of his/her place of residence is unable to vote in the polling station polling station due to ill health or for other valid reasons, he/she may request to vote at his/her place of residence, i.e. in his/her temporary accommodation.

Voting at the voter's place of residence is only available from 27 February 2023 to 2 March between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Voters can only vote at their place of residence if they have previously submitted a written request. The request can be submitted until 2 March 2023 at 2 p.m. at val@tallinnlv.ee.
 

The application must state the reason for requesting to vote in your place of residence, for example:

  • state of health;
  • high age;
  • difficult road conditions;
  • lack of transport;
  • other reasons preventing the voter from leaving the place of residence.
If the precinct committee finds that the application is not justified, it shall inform the applicant of the circumstances in which the application was refused.

Voting at the polling station shall be conducted by at least two members of the precinct committee. To vote, an identity document is required, as the right to vote is established on the basis of an identity code.
