Voting at home and at the location of the voter

If the voter cannot vote in a polling station due to a health condition or another compelling reason, they can apply to vote from home. Their home does not have to be their registered place of residence. An application to vote at home may also be made to vote outside the electoral district of residence at the location of the voter.

Voting at home and at the location of the voter will take place from 7 to 9 June between 9 am to 8 pm.

The voter has to submit a written request to vote from home or at their location by 9 June 2024 at 2 pm at the latest to the district administration of their residence.

In your request to vote at home, you must include:
  1. the voter’s name;
  2. the voter’s personal identification code;
  3. the voter’s location address;
  4. the voter’s phone number;
  5. the reason for voting at home or at their location
for example:
  • health condition;
  • old age;
  • difficult road conditions;
  • lack of means of transportation;
  • other reasons that hinder leaving your home or location.
If the electoral committee finds that there is not enough cause, they will inform you of the circumstances of the dismissal of your application.
