Association of Significant Cemeteries in Europe

Objectives:
To consolidate data on significant cemeteries and raise awareness of their importance as a part of European heritage.

Management:
The governing bodies are the General Assembly which gives directions, the President who represents the association and the assisting Steering Committee.

Importance to Tallinn:
Tallinn joined the association in 2003. The following city cemeteries are part of the network: Pärnamäe, Metsakalmistu, Pirita, Siselinna, Rahumäe, Hiiu-Rahu and Liiva cemeteries.
