The member cities of Pesticide Free Towns must commit to significantly minimising the use of pesticides in urban space.
The network also organises campaigns to increase awareness of the dangers of pesticides among residents and green area maintenance workers and teach people how to use sustainable alternatives.
Tallinn joined Pesticide Free Towns in November 2018.
