Marine litter is permanent, manufactured or processed solid material that has been dumped, disposed of or abandoned in the marine and coastal environment.
 

The City of Tallinn in co-operation with the Stockholm Environment Institute Tallinn Centre (SEI Tallinn) prepared an action plan for the prevention and reduction of marine litter in the capital 2022-2026. The action plan and information related to it can be found here.
