Restoration grants offered by Tallinn to preserve valuable architectural heritage
Until April 7, applications can be submitted to the Tallinn Urban Planning Department for grants to support the restoration of monuments, buildings in conservation or heritage protection areas, or single objects of environmental value.
The aim of the application round is to support the owners of architecturally valuable buildings in maintaining, restoring, and reconstructing their properties (including their details) to preserve an authentic environment, architecture, and use of materials in the urban space of Tallinn.For 2024, €450,000 has been planned for restoration grants. The maximum grant rate is up to 75% of the cost of restoration work, with a maximum amount of €35,000 per object. Grants are awarded for work that has not started before the submission of the application and which must be completed by November 30 of the current year.
Applications can be submitted until April 7, 2024, through Tallinn's project and activity support information system's self-service environment. More information can be found on the restoration grant webpage.
