The Museum of Photography is a focal point of the history of Estonian photography which documents and makes sense of Estonian photography culture throughout its transformation. The Museum of Photography is also an affiliate of the Tallinn City Museum that collects and presents the development of the city of Tallinn through photographs.

The museum compiles exhibitions, lectures, articles and information sources introducing and connecting the Estonian and global photographic history. It follows the development of the contemporary local photography culture and presents information in an eye-catching way.
