Tallinn Folk High School

The Tallinn Folk High School offers different self-improvement opportunities through theoretical and practical courses to the wider public.

The school was founded in 1959. From 1959-1996, the school was called the Tallinn Cultural University and from 1996-2003, it was the Tallinn Cultural Folk University. After that, the school got its current name of Tallinn Folk High School.

Every year during the week at the beginning of May, the school holds an Open Doors Day that has exhibitions of the drawings, paintings, calligraphy and handicraft work of the art students. There is also a concert held by the music students. During the Open Doors Day, the list of courses for the autumn term is unveiled.

The Folk High School values life-long education.

The courses are open to everyone.
