Museum Sundays

Muuseumipühapäev

Every first Sunday of the month there is a free entrance to Tallinn city owned museums. Upcoming Museum Sunday: 5 January 2025.

Museum Sundays is the initiative of Tallinn City with the aim to bring attention the daily activities in museums and the rich cultural life of the city, and to improve the accessibility of it to both Tallinners and its visitors. The initiative started in March 2022.

NB! On free Sundays, museums are open free of charge to individual visitors, guided group visits are not accepted on these days.

NB! Visiting Tallinn City Museum branches on free Museum Sunday is possible only with a pre-registered free pass. Pre-registration is required due to the large audience interest in free museum Sundays. Museum visits can be booked up to 2 months in advance.

The next free Museum Sundays will take place in 2025: 5 January, 2 February, 2 March, 6 April, 4 May.
