Deadline for first-grade enrollment applications extended to March 24

Parents in Tallinn have until this Sunday, March 24, to submit applications for assigning a school by place of residence for children entering the first grade in the 2024/2025 academic year. This year, about 4,600 children reach school age, and the Tallinn Education Department is awaiting applications or notifications of waiver from about 900 children.

Tallinn supports various music events with over €154,000 in grants

As a UNESCO City of Music, Tallinn pays special attention to music events that that add vibrancy to the city's cultural lineup. For the first round of music project grants in 2024, the city will allocate a total of €154,070 to support 32 initiatives. A record number of 90 projects were submitted for this funding round.

Tallinn presents Estonian real estate sector at MIPIM 2024, Cannes

From March 12-15, the MIPIM 2024 real estate and investment fair will be held in Cannes, France, where the City of Tallinn will participate with a joint stand alongside nine Estonian companies: Port of Tallinn, Invest in Estonia, Lumi Capital, Bisly, COBALT, Fyma, TrackDeep, Spacedrip, and Fibenol.

Tallinn's ice rinks soon to close for the season

Tallinn's ice rinks are soon closing for the current season - the ice rinks in Lasnamäe, Mustamäe, and Nõmme will remain open until the end of this week, March 17. The Old Town ice rink will stay open until the end of the month.
