Applications accepted for support measures for summer youth camps

Applications accepted for support measures for summer youth camps

The Tallinn Education Department is accepting applications for support measures for youth summer camps. The applications are accepted until 15 March. The support measure is directed towards 7-19 year olds. The applications must be sent by licensed camp organizers.

“I am happy to announce that the support measure has increased by 61% to €196,000 with €4 per participant per day. The reduced participation fee will make the service more accessible and allow even more children to participate in summer camps, said Deputy Mayor Vadim Belobrovtsev.

The support measure is meant for children aged 7-19 who have been registered as residents of Tallinn. The support measure is also available for licensed camps outside the Tallinn administrative territory with an exchange lasting at least six days. The support measure can be applied by legal entities and self-employed persons, except for those organizers who have received support for sports activities from the Tallinn Culture and Sports Board in the current year.

The application for the support measure and the final report of the expenditure has to be sent via Tallinn Project and Operating Grants Information System self-service webpage. All necessary information can be found at the following website: https://www.tallinn.ee/et/teenused/noortelaagrite-korraldajate-toetus-tallinna-lastele?group=204

The deadline for asking for support measure for summer camps is 15 March.

In 2022, more than 5,800 students  from the capital took part in summer youth camps supported by Tallinn, with a total of 47 partners supported and €3.5 per young person per day.
