Construction of water and heating pipelines may disrupt traffic on Sõpruse puiestee

Construction work on water and district heating pipelines is ongoing until the end of June in the Kristiine district, specifically along Käbliku and Koskla streets and the section of Sõpruse puiestee between them. Work on Käbliku Street began on May 6. From May 13 to June 3, the bus lane on Sõpruse puiestee heading towards the city centre will be closed, and Koskla Street will be partially closed (near buildings No. 16, 18, and 22).

Access for pedestrians, cyclists, public transport, and vehicles to properties within the construction zone, as well as waste collection services, will be maintained by the contractor. Any temporary restrictions on access will be short-term and must be pre-coordinated with the property owner and communicated to the waste collection service.

The Tallinn Transport Department urges all travelers in the area to be more vigilant than usual and to pay attention to traffic control signs.

The work is being carried out by OÜ Megido on behalf of AS Tallinna Vesi and AS Utilitas Tallinn. Information about the street closure permit can be accessed on the Tallinn operational information website.
