Discover a new side of Tallinn's Old Town at Pikk Street Festival
On September 15, Tallinn's Old Town will host the Pikk Street Festival, welcoming both the local community and visitors from near and far. The festival offers activities for all ages, including exclusive access to several courtyards along Pikk Street, where students and teachers from the Old Town Educational College will perform concerts.
The day begins with a flea market at the Green Market, where visitors can explore historical items and antiques. Throughout the day, the diverse program includes courtyard concerts, guided tours, performances, and workshops.
A long table will be set up starting from Hell Hunt Pub (Pikk Street 39), where workshops will be held in the morning, followed by a street picnic from 17:00 to 19:00. Everyone is welcome: local residents, their friends, and city guests. Together, you can enjoy food from Pikk Street’s restaurants, the ambiance of the Old Town, and the lively atmosphere. You can pre-book a spot at the table and a food package via Fienta.ee.
In the afternoon, the festival will move indoors, where concerts, performances, installations, and tours will take place in historic buildings. Various partners, including the Old Town Society, Tallinn Philharmonic, Estonian Centre of Contemporary Music, Kanuti Gild, Estonian Maritime Museum, Estonian History Museum, City Museum, and the Old Town Educational College Music School, are involved.
