Healthcare and crisis support during Midsummer weekend

Healthcare and crisis support during Midsummer weekend

During the upcoming long Midsummer weekend, residents of Tallinn can access medical assistance at hospital emergency departments, visit the Tallinn Dental Clinic and duty pharmacies, or call the Family Doctor Advisory Line and the Victim Support Crisis Hotline for support.

All emergency departments of Tallinn hospitals and the Tallinn Ambulance Service operate 24/7. In case of emergencies, call 112.

Duty pharmacies (open 24/7) in Tallinn are open at the following locations:

  • Tõnismägi 5
  • Vikerlase 19

The Tallinn Dental Clinic (Toompuiestee 4b) will provide emergency dental care on Saturday, June 22, from 9:00 to 15:00, and on Sunday and Monday, June 23 and 24, from 9:00 to 14:00. Dental emergency services will be provided by a general practitioner and an oral surgeon. Note that the Mustakivi Clinic (Mahtra 1) will be closed from June 22 to 24.

For health-related issues, you can also contact the Family Doctor Advisory Line at 1220 or +372 634 6630.

If you experience distressing events during the celebrations (violence, sexual violence, loss, traumatic situations, etc.) and find it difficult to cope alone, it is always advisable to call the Victim Support Crisis Hotline at 116 006. The hotline is open 24/7 and offers anonymous support. You can also find help and good advice through the chat window on the website palunabi.ee.

If you witness any inappropriate behavior in public places, you can contact the Tallinn Municipal Police at the number 14410.
