Hobujaama and Laikmaa streets reopen on October 21, ending diversions for 15 bus routes

With the reopening of Hobujaama and Laikmaa streets to public transport on October 21, all temporary bus route diversions caused by the construction of the Old City Harbour tram line will come to an end.

“After nearly two years of diversions, many bus lines passing through the city center will return to their usual routes,” noted Deputy Mayor Kristjan Järvan. “As many public transport users have become accustomed to the detours, I strongly recommend checking your daily travel routes soon. We are also preparing for the opening of the Old City Harbour tram line at the end of the year.”

From October 21, the following routes will return to their normal paths through the city center: 1, 14, 15, 18, 18A, 20, 20A, 29, 31, 34, 38, 44, 55, 60, and 63. Additionally, the Viru Centre bus terminal will reopen fully, and the starting stops for several lines (1, 14, 15, 18, 18A, 20A, 29, 34, 38, and 44) will be located there again.
