The new e-guide introduces oppurtunities for hobbies offered in Tallinn

From this week, the website of the Tallinn Board of Education provides access to the hobby e-guide, which gives information on hobby groups and hobby opportunities for 148 schoolchildren and toddlers.

According to Deputy Mayor Vadim Belobrovtsev, the guide is a good tool for finding hobbies. “Tallinn has various opportunities for hobbies and young people want to spend their free time in a developing and pleasant way. The beginning of a school year is the main time when a new hobby is sought, and the hobby guide makes this process easier, helping every young person to find a suitable hobby. Municipal and private hobby schools, sports clubs, museums, as well as youth centers, and other youth organizations share their information in the hobby guide,” said Belobrovtsev.

You can search for information in Estonian and Russian by seven categories: arts and crafts, language learning, music, dance, sports, technology and general culture, and toddlers. For each hobby organization, the activities offered, the age of the students, the working language, the monthly fee, and the contacts are listed.

For example, language enthusiasts of all ages can study French, Arabic, Portuguese and Finnish at the Tallinn Language School, theater enthusiasts aged 10-13 can join the Von Glehn Theater Improt Theater, Estonian Water Sports School MTÜ offers beginner swimming courses, and Midrimaa Hobby School invites robotic fans to join.

All the oppurtunities are available on the website: /huviteatmik.
