The City of Tallinn will start informing residents about upcoming street repairs beginning next week. At the start of each week, Tallinn will update its social media and website with information about road and street repair works to keep residents informed about developments in their neighborhoods.

According to Deputy Mayor Pärtel-Peeter Pere, the repair works will improve the condition and lifespan of the roads, making everyday travel more convenient and safer for both drivers and pedestrians. "We are improving the roads to ensure better traffic flow. We ask everyone to follow temporary traffic signs. As Kadaka puiestee in Nõmme is undergoing bridge construction, I encourage people to use the train where possible to avoid driving not only to the city center but also to Nõmme center and the Hiiu railway crossing," said Pere.

Moving forward, information about repair works will be available every week on the City of Tallinn's social media channels and website under the keyword "Tänavad korda (Streets to be repaired)."

Next week, from September 16 to 22, the following street repair works will take place in Tallinn:

Monday, September 16
• Kivisilla Street – repairs will take place throughout the day
• Sõpruse puiestee (section: from Räägu Street to Linnu tee stop)

Tuesday, September 17
• Linnu tee (section: from Sõpruse puiestee to Mustamäe tee)

Wednesday, September 18
• Tatari Street (section: from Rävala puiestee to Allika Street)
• Kentmanni Street (section: from Rävala puiestee to Kauka Street)
• Sakala Street (before Estonia puiestee) – Works will continue on September 19
• Veerenni Street – work will take place in three sections:
o Section 1: from Tatari Street. to Vana-Lõuna Street
o Section 2: from Õilme Street to the Tehnika Street roundabout
o Section 3: between Viaduct and Luite Street

Thursday, September 19
• Sakala Street (before Estonia puiestee) – work continues
• Raua Street – work will take place in two sections:
o Section 1: from Raua Street 6 to Kreutzwaldi Street 1 and 2
o Section 2: from Kreutzwaldi Street to Raua Street 28

Friday, September 20
• Raua Street – work continues in two sections:
o Section 1: from Raua Street 6 to Kreutzwaldi Street 1 and 2
o Section 2: from Kreutzwaldi Street to Raua Street 28
To ensure smooth traffic flow and avoid major congestion, no repair works will take place between 7:00–9:00 am and 4:00–6:00 pm.
