Temporary traffic changes due to construction work on Odra Street
From March 5 to June 15, construction work will take place on Odra Street, temporarily closing the street to traffic. Bus lines no. 54 and 67 will be rerouted. Access will be maintained for local residents, pedestrians, and cyclists.
The route of bus line no. 54 will change in the Priisle direction – during this period, the bus will operate via Juhkentali Street, Masina Street, and Tartu maantee. The Bussijaam stop on Odra Street will be discontinued, and a temporary Bussijaam stop will be established on Juhkentali Street. The route towards Väike-Õismäe will remain unchanged.
Bus line no. 67 will operate via Lembitu Street, Liivalaia Street, Pronksi Street, and Laagna tee in the Seli direction during the construction work. The Hotell Olümpia and Püssirohu stops on Juhkentali Street, as well as the Bussijaam stop on Odra Street, will be discontinued. The Hotell Olümpia stop will be relocated to Liivalaia Street, and the bus will also stop at the Paberi stop. A temporary Bussijaam stop will be set up on Kunderi Street before the intersection with Türnpu Street.
In the J. Sütiste tee direction, bus no. 67 will operate via Türnpu Street, Tartu maantee, Liivalaia Street, and Lauteri Street. The Püssirohu stop on Juhkentali Street will be discontinued, and the Keskturg stop will be added on Tartu maantee along the modified route.

Schedules, route maps, and stop locations can be found on the website transport.tallinn.ee.
For dropping off or picking up passengers at the Bussijaam, a small section of Odra Street (next to the taxi stop) will remain accessible from Filtri tee or Juhkentali Street. Masina Street will also be closed to regular traffic but will remain accessible to local residents, service vehicles, and public transport.
For regular traffic, the recommended detour to the city center from Laagna tee is via Gonsiori Street, and in the opposite direction via Kunderi Street. From Tartu maantee and Peterburi tee towards the city center, Tehnika Street or Filtri tee can be used, and vice versa. To ensure smoother traffic flow, Türnpu Street will be temporarily closed to regular traffic, and left turns from Tartu maantee onto Lubja Street will be prohibited.

The temporary closure of Odra Street is related to the reconstruction of the intersection, which includes the installation of underground utility lines at the Lastekodu and Odra Street intersection and the entrance area of Tallinn Bus Station.
The street reconstruction project is commissioned by the Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department and carried out by AS TREF Nord and Magma AS. The construction oversight is handled by TPJ Inseneribüroo OÜ. The contractual cost of the construction work is approximately 14 million euros, of which 5.3 million is co-financed by Utilitas and 3.6 million by Tallinna Vesi, with the remaining costs covered by the City of Tallinn. VAT will be added to the total costs. If everything goes according to plan, the work will be completed by December 2025.
