Tram service to Kopli suspended from first weekend in May
From the evening of Friday, May 3, at 20.00 until the end of Sunday, May 5, tram service between Kopli and the city centre will be temporarily suspended. During this period, tram lines 1, 2, and 5 will be replaced by shuttle bus line 52 on the segment between Kopli and Mere puiestee. This suspension is due to construction work at the temporary Linnahall stop and the tram turnaround loop at the Skoone Bastion stadium.
Starting from May 6 until mid-August, the Kopli direction will be served by a temporary tram line 1, operating between Kopli and Linnahall. The temporary Linnahall stop will be constructed at the turnaround. During this time, from May to mid-August, track and overhead lines will be installed on Mere puiestee and Põhja puiestee as part of the construction of the Old City Harbour tramway. Trams 2 and 5 will not operate during this period. We will provide more detailed information on tram service changes starting from May 6 next week, along with recommendations for planning routes. Public transport users can also find detailed information about changes to transport lines on the Old City Harbour tramway webpage at tallinn.ee/vanasadamatramm. Timetables, a journey planner, line routes, and stops will be available on the website transport.tallinn.ee by the time the changes take effect.
