Trams to Kopli suspended this weekend
From the evening of Friday, May 3, at 20.00 until the end of Sunday, May 5, tram service between Kopli and the city centre will be temporarily suspended. During this period, tram lines 1, 2, and 5 will be replaced by shuttle bus line 52 on the segment between Kopli and Mere puiestee. This suspension is due to construction work at the temporary Linnahall stop and the tram turnaround loop at the Skoone Bastion stadium.
Due to the launch of the temporary bus line No. 52 between Kopli and Mere puiestee from May 3 to May 5, we request that you take note of the temporary parking changes on Volta Street and Kopli Street in the area around the tram terminus.Starting from May 6 until mid-August, the Kopli direction will be served by a temporary tram line 1, operating between Kopli and Linnahall. The temporary Linnahall stop will be constructed at the turnaround. During this time, from May to mid-August, track and overhead lines will be installed on Mere puiestee and Põhja puiestee as part of the construction of the Old City Harbour tramway. Trams No. 2 and 5 will not operate, and no temporary bus lines are planned for the Kopli-bound trams since the existing public transport network, along with the temporary tram line to Linnahall, provides adequate alternatives for travel from Põhja-Tallinn to the city centre.
Public transport route recommendations and diagrams of stop locations can be found on the Old City Harbour tramway website at tallinn.ee/vanasadamatramm.
Schedules, a trip planner, route paths, and stops are also available on the website transport.tallinn.ee starting from the beginning of the changes.
