Due to water main construction near Tartu maantee 60a, traffic will be significantly disrupted along the stretch between Laulupeo Street and Lubja Street from April 22 to April 27. During this period, one lane will remain open in each direction as the street will be partially closed to accommodate the work.

The Tallinn Transport Department has scheduled these works during the school holidays when traffic is generally lighter. The contractor has been instructed to give priority passage to public transport. Access for cyclists and pedestrians will be maintained throughout the construction period, and traffic regulators will be on site during peak hours (7:30-10 AM and 4-6:30 PM) to manage the flow. There is no diversion planned for car traffic, but drivers should anticipate potential delays due to congestion.

The Tallinn Transport Department advises motorists to avoid this section of Tartu maantee between Laulupeo and Lubja Streets from April 22 to April 27, if possible. Traffic crossing Tartu maantee between Odra Street and Türnpu Street will proceed as usual, though longer travel times can be expected.
