Pelgulinn Pumptrack
The pumptrack gives children an opportunity to spend more time outside. The pumptrack is a fantastic meeting place for scooter riders, skaters and cyclists of all ages; also for mothers and fathers! Põhja-Tallinn doesn’t have a pumptrack yet. It’s a lovely facility that combines the functions of a playground and a sports facility.

Beach showers in Stroomi Beach Park and Pikakari Beach

Stroomi and Pikakari beaches are both quite popular places to swim. You should rinse off and put on clean clothes after going for a swim in the sea. Clean the sand off your feet!

Let’s make Kari park the best place for all of us!

Kari Park is a popular place for people of different ages (youth, toddlers, parents, young people, elders) to spend time outdoors. Therefore, it is necessary to draw more attention to the well-being of everyone spending time in Kari Park. It is necessary to put up agreements in the skatepark that speak to young people. It is skatepark etiquette, for example, throwing garbage on the skatepark is not cool, because it increases the risk of falling.

Trash cans are needed in the immediate vicinity of gathering places, e.g. skate area seats. Shelters from rain and sun are also needed. In the summer, the concrete skating rink overheats, and the seating areas could also have shade in some places, especially necessary for elders. Spending time outdoors is everyone's right. Kari Park will be the friendliest and cleanest leisure place for everyone. So that every kid, parent and grandparent, skateboarder or scooter fan feels welcome and safe in Kari Park. Let’s make Kari Park the best place for all of us!

Construction of low adventure trail in the school yard of Gustav Adolf Grammar School at 9 Vana-Kalamaja Street, offering activities for children in the local community

Gustav Adolf Grammar School is part of the School Inviting Movement scheme. Outdoor breaks are an important part of our school days. The Kotzebue Street school building is the local school for around 700 Kalamaja children. We would like to create a low adventure trail by the school building in order to provide more purposeful outdoor breaks, offering a variety of possibilities to get children exercising and moving. A low adventure trail would extend a bridge between the school and the Kalamaja community, helping the entire local community become more eager to exercise and move. The adventure trail would be open to all Kalamaja children after school. Let’s make a fun low adventure trail, helping children become more active and bringing joy to both the school and the community! Let’s make Kalamaja more active! :)

Sitsi mini park

Let's give a new look and feel to Sitsi hill and create a new small park. Let's create a place where it would be nice to rest your feet when going to the store or coming from the store, or while waiting for the bus or tram, or just to read a book or just to be and enjoy the beauty of flowers. We will pave the existing muddy paths, plant shade-loving native meadow plants, build benches for sitting, and plant a tall hedge along the street to stop traffic noise.

Bicycle training ground

Põhja-Tallinn should have a place where people can safely practice safe cycling in urban traffic. Ramps, rails, chutes, swings, holes, etc. as well as traffic signs and road surface markings. The paths for cyclists’ driving tests must also be marked. Additionally, there should be a shelter if it starts raining when a study group is there.

Outdoor gym at Noblessner healthtrail

One of North Tallinn’s most beautiful and popular fitness trails runs along the sea promenade from Kalaranna to Noblessner and circles Kalamaja Park and Kalaranna Street. Hundreds of people interested in fitness exercise there daily! However, the entire region doesn’t have a proper outdoor gym. We want to promote exercise and health, and in order to accomplish that, we want a training field next to the fitness trail that would be suitable for beginners as well as more experienced individuals, with a quality equivalent to the best indoor gyms in Tallinn. Ott Kiivikas, Tarmo Hõbe and Alo Lõoke will provide their advice and professional experience for the construction of the Noblessner fitness trail training field.

Outdoor stage for the green area in Kalma

Let´s expand the urban space for culture! The outdoor stage of Kalma haljak would offer the opportunity for various theater and music groups to perform, would encourage the community to come together and communicate with each other, being a public performing arts space on the side of the reconstructed Vana-Kalamaja street, offering professional entertainment and high-quality leisure time.
