Primary and basic schools
A parent can pick any school in Tallinn for his/her child in 2nd-9th grade if there are free places (find a suitable school from the map).
In case of free places, the school is obliged to accept all children with the obligation to attend school and who express their wish to attend and whose school of residence this school is.

Personal identification
In order to be accepted to the school, the prospective student (or his/her parent) shall submit an application as stipulated in the entry terms and procedure. The following are also required:
- an officially confirmed transcript or statement of the prospective student’s personal identification document (if there is none, a birth certificate or proof);
- an officially confirmed transcript or statement of the parent’s personal identification document if a parent submits the application;
- officially confirmed statement of student’s health card, if one exists;
The prospective student or parent does not have to include a personal identification document in case the application is digitally signed.

What to do with the form
Submit the application to the school’s office.

Result
Place in a school with free places and the entrance conditions of which have been met.
