Mobiil-ID: Secure Digital Identification and Signing
Mobiil-ID is a universal digital identification solution that allows you to securely access e-services on your computer, tablet, or mobile phone—without needing a card reader or special software. Just remember your PIN codes, and you're ready to go!
Using Mobiil-ID for Digital Signing
You can digitally sign documents and confirm actions using Mobiil-ID in different ways:
✔ Directly in web browsers when accessing e-services.
✔ Using DigiDoc4 software on your computer.
✔ Via the RIA DigiDoc app on your smartphone.
Mobiil-ID PIN Codes
To use Mobiil-ID, you need three PIN codes:
🔹 PIN1 – for identification and logging into e-services.
🔹 PIN2 – for digital signing and confirming operations.
🔹 PUK – for unlocking your PIN codes if needed.
Logging into E-Services with Mobiil-ID
A Mobiil-ID signature is legally equivalent to a handwritten signature!
You can sign documents in DigiDoc4 using two methods:
🔹 Right-click the document on your computer and select "Sign digitally".
🔹 Open DigiDoc4 manually, choose "Sign", and drag or upload your files.
After clicking "Sign with Mobiil-ID", enter your phone number and personal code, then confirm by entering PIN2 on your phone when prompted.
Important Security Tips
🔸 Always verify the service name on your phone before entering PIN codes.
🔸 The control code must match between the website and your phone.
🔸 Use PIN1 for authentication and PIN2 for signing—never enter them without verifying the request!

- A control code will appear on your screen. This ensures that you are initiating the login. If the code does not match the one on your phone, do not enter your PIN!

- Confirm login by selecting "Accept" and entering your PIN1.
- Confirm transactions similarly using PIN2, for example, when making a bank transfer.
