The right to discounted tickets extends to the following passengers:

Documents that evidence the right to discounted travel are as follows (valid only with proof of identity):

1.

School students

• A personalised Public Transport Card; or
• the passenger’s ID card, if they are registered in the Estonian Education Information System database; or
• an Estonian student card or ISIC Scholar card.

2.

University students

• A personalised Public Transport Card; or
• the passenger’s ID card, if they are registered in the Estonian Education Information System database; or
• an Estonian student card, ISIC Student card or Swedbank Student Card.

3.

Pensioners

• A personalised Public Transport Card; or
• the passenger’s ID card, if they are registered in the National Social Insurance Board Information System database; or
• an Estonian pension certificate.

4.

Passengers aged 16 and over with severe or profound disabilities

• A personalised Public Transport Card; or
• the passenger’s ID card, if they are registered in the National Social Insurance Board Information System database; or
• a document evidencing the passenger’s disability issued by the National Social Insurance Board.

5.

Passengers who are parents of 3 or more children

• A personalised Public Transport Card; or
• the passenger’s ID card, if they are registered as eligible for the discount in the database of the relevant city district; or
• relevant certification issued by the Social Welfare Department of the passenger’s local government.

6.

Members of families (with the exception of children) who receive the subsistence benefit whose place of residence as listed in the population register has been Tallinn for at least 1 year in the calendar month following the month that the benefit was allocated

• A personalised Public Transport Card; or
• the passenger’s ID card, if they are registered as eligible for the discount in the database of the relevant city district.
