Children’s day centre

The day centre helps children cope with school homework and develops their social skills. The purpose of the service is to support the diverse development of children’s abilities. Children are referred to the day centre by a child protection official from the city district government. The service is offered by nine centres around Tallinn (on working days).

 

At a day centre, children can:

  • receive advice and support
  • foster their social skills
  • obtain study assistance
  • enjoy a hot lunch
  • pursue leisure activities
  • play games
  • use a computer develop their motor skills participate in events take part in camps.
