Organisation of recreational activities and leisure possibilities and provision of social services. The services of the day centre are needed by people with disabilities and the elderly who do not participate actively in social life. The clients contact the day centre on their own initiative or after a referral from the social welfare department. Depending on the client's economic situation the services are provided for a fee or free of charge (this is decided by the head of the social welfare department). Following services are offered: catering, possibility to shower or use the sauna, to do laundry, Internet information point, hairdresser, manicure, blood pressure measurement, various hobby groups, computer and language studies, etc. Various events are organised in addition to services and hobby groups.
