Free legal counselling is offered to lower income residents of Tallinn in Estonian and in Russian. This service is for residents of Tallinn whose income per one family member is less than the minimum wage (820 euros).

The aim of the service is to lower income people manage and prevent problems from getting worse.

Counselling is offered in the following areas:

• family relationships
• housing (rental relationships)
• various obligations/debts
• guidance in court (written legal procedure)
• conflicts in work relationships
• issues related to services and financial support

Eesti Juristide Liit student law clinic

The student law clinic offers free legal aid to Tallinn residents in Estonian and, if possible, in Russian and English as well. Provision of legal aid in Russian and English will depend on the students’ language skills. Legal aid is given in the following areas:

• labour law
• law of obligations
• enforcement procedure law
• family law
• law of succession
• law regarding apartment associations
• tax law

In 2024 legal aid is provided in the following periods:

• 29 January to 14 June 2024
• 29 July to 30 August 2024
• 23 September to 6 December 2024

Juristide Liit counselling

The solicitors of Eesti Juristide Liit offer free legal aid to Tallinn residents in Estonian, English and Russian in the following areas:

• family law
• law of succession
• law of obligations
• contract law
• labour law
• tax law
• consumer protection law
• enforcement procedure law
• questions regarding apartment associations
• communication with local or public authorities

No pre-registration needed.
