  3. temporary visual impairments or temporary physical disabilities due to which they have to use mobility equipment.

How long is the parking pass valid?

  • A parking pass will be issued for the duration of validity of the disability certificate, but no longer than for five years.
  • In case of a temporary physical disability or visual impairment, the parking pass will be issued for the period during which the person is disabled but no longer than six months.

Thus the application, issuance and use of the parking pass is identity-based and is only valid when the person with the parking pass is driving or parking. The parking pass cannot be used for parking without the person it has been issued to.
