One of Tallinnovation 2024 winners, Rexplorer has created a 3D digital model of solar energy that helps install solar panels on building rooftops and calculate the system’s technical parameters and efficiency.

This model is unique due to Rexplorer’s 3D geometry algorithms. The project’s goal is to integrate this model with Tallinn’s digital city model to automatically visualize solar panels on building rooftops and calculate the necessary system data. The company is being supported with 10,000 euros. The Tallinnovation innovation competition is a collaboration between the City of Tallinn and the Science and Business campus Tehnopol to find and implement smart city solutions in Tallinn. The new competition will open again in spring 2025.
