From May 22 to June 21, 2023, a new innovation project will be launched in the Tiskre residential area with the aim of enhancing the efficiency and environmental sustainability of parcel delivery. We are thrilled to announce the partnership between Omniva Eesti, the leading logistics company in Estonia, and Auve Tech, a technology company, as they take the initial steps to implement this exciting project.

The pilot project revolves around the integration of autonomous vehicles into parcel delivery. Auve Tech's self-driving car will handle the last-mile transportation, ensuring a seamless and convenient experience for the end customer in receiving their parcels. The logistics company will streamline the last-mile process by utilizing autonomous vehicles to transport the parcels. Customers will be notified via phone call, informing them that a courier will deliver their parcel at a convenient time between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

The primary objective of this pilot project is to make door-to-door parcel delivery more environmentally friendly and sustainable, benefiting both the end customers and the logistics center. By reducing delivery costs and the ecological footprint, we aim to create a greener and more efficient parcel delivery system.
