Taxi permits

You can find the necessary permits for providing taxi transport services here. The Tallinn Municipal Police Department suggests submitting your applications digitally using the Register of Economic Activities. This will speed up the time it takes to receive your permits.

• Taxi transport permit - The taxi transport permit allows the carrier to provide taxi transport services (legal person).
• Service provider card for taxi drivers - The service provider card allows the carrier to work as a taxi driver to provide a paid taxi service (physical person).
• Service provider card for cyclists and operators of animal-powered vehicles and fun rides - The service provider card allows the carrier to provide paid transport services to passengers (physical person).
• Vehicle card - The vehicle card is a document granted to a carrier who has the right to use the vehicle specified in the card for providing a taxi service (physical or legal person).
