In connection with the construction of a new tram line in the Tallinn city centre, the following changes will take place on public transport routes:

• Bus lines 1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15, 18, 18A, 20, 20A, 23, 29, 31, 34, 35, 38, 40, 44, 46, 48, 51, 55, 58, 60, 63, 67 and 68 will be diverted between 03.07.2023-31.08.2023;
• The detour route will be changed on bus lines 1, 5, 8, 29, 38, 40, 44, 48, 51, 52, 60 and 63. On all other lines the detour route will remain the same as before 02.07. 2023 (click here for details);
• The Viru bus terminal will be closed as of 03.07.2023;
• From 03.07.2023 to 31.08.2023, streetcar lines 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be temporarily suspended, streetcar line No. 6 Kopli - Tondi and substitute route No. 52 Hobujama - Ülemiste Station will operate temporarily.

NB! Passengers on bypass lines may experience delays and the journey to the bus stop may be slightly longer.

Changes to public transport lines 1, 5, 8, 29, 35, 38, 40, 44, 48, 51, 52, 60 and 63 from 03.07.2023 to 31.08.2023:

Bus Line No. 1:

• The direction of Viru Keskus is replaced with the direction A. Laikmaa: the modified route has a temporary stop on F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street in front of buildings no. 10 and no. 22, at Tornimäe stop, and the final stop is A. Laikmaa.
• In the direction of Viimsi Keskus: on the modified route, the starting stop is Kaubamaja, there is a stop Tornimäe on Rävala boulevard, a temporary stop in front of the building no. 25 on F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street, and a temporary stop on F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street after the intersection with Raua Street.

❌ The following stops are closed in the direction of Viimsi Keskus: Viru Keskus 5, Hobujaama, and Pronksi.


Bus Line No. 5:

Bus line no. 5 temporarily operates along Mere Avenue and Reidi Road instead of Narva Road.

• In the direction of Metsakooli tee: The modified route has a stop at Mere Avenue, Ahtri Street, and a temporary stop next to Hobujaama parking lot. On Reidi Road, there are stops at Uus-Sadama and Pikksilma.
• In the direction of Männiku: the modified route has stops at Reidi Road, Pikksilma, and Uus-Sadama on Reidi Road. On the southern branch of Ahtri Street, there is a temporary stop Siimeoni, and a stop Mere puiestee on Mere Avenue.

❌ The following stops are closed: Hobujaama (in the direction of Männiku), Pronksi, F. R. Kreutzwaldi (in the direction of Männiku), L. Koidula (in the direction of Metsakooli tee), J. Poska.


Bus Lines No. 8 and 38:

• In the direction of Viru Keskus: a temporary stop on Petrooleumi Street, a stop at Uus-Sadama on Reidi Road, and a temporary final stop at the entrance to Hobujaama bus parking lot.
• In the direction of Äigrumäe/Muuga: a temporary starting stop next to Hobujaama parking lot on Ahtri Street and a temporary stop in front of the building at Tuukri Street 48.

❌ The following stops are closed in the direction of Viru Keskus: F. R. Kreutzwaldi, Pronksi, Hobujaama, Mere Puiestee, and Ahtri.

Bus Line No. 29:

• The direction Viru Keskus is replaced with the direction A. Laikmaa: a temporary stop on F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street in front of buildings no. 10 and no. 22 at Tornimäe stop, and at the final stop is A. Laikmaa.
• In the direction of Iru Hooldekodu and Priisle: the starting stop is Kaubamaja, Tornimäe stop on Rävala Avenue, a temporary stop in front of building no. 25 on F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street, and a temporary stop on F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street after the intersection with Raua Street.

❌ The following stops are closed in the direction of Priisle: Viru Keskus 6 in the bus terminal and Pronksi.

Bus Lines No. 40 and 48:

• The direction Viru Keskus is replaced with the direction A. Laikmaa: the final stop is A. Laikmaa.
• In the direction of Pelguranna: the starting stop is Estonia.

❌ The following stops are closed: Viru Keskus 3 in the bus terminal and Viru.

Temporary Route Change for Bus Lines No. 35, 44, 51, 52, 60, and 63 at the finaal stop in Hobujaama:

• There is a temporary final stop Pronksi on Narva Road in front of the building on Narva Road 7, after which the bus will make a U-turn before the Hobujaama intersection and the starting stop is Pronksi on Narva Road in the direction out of the city.

❌ The Hobujaama stops are closed in both directions.
