Changes to the routes of Tallinn's public transport lines on Põhja puiestee, Mere puiestee, and Ahtri Street during construction works from 4.03.2024 to 7.06.2024

Due to the construction of the Old City Harbor tramway, bus lines No. 2, 3, 8, 20, 20A, 21, 21B, 34, 38, 41, 41B, 66, 73, 91, 92, 93, and 96 will be rerouted from the start of the workday on March 4 until the end of the workday on June 7, 2024.

Note: Tram lines No. 1, 2, and 5 will operate as usual until the evening of May 3.

NB! Please note that due to the rerouting of public transport in the city centre, the walking distance to stops may increase, so we advise allowing more time to reach your destination. Bus Line No. 2

• On the Reisisadam A-Terminal (Port of Tallinn A-Terminal) bound route: Suur-Rannavärav, Põhja puiestee, Mere puiestee, Kai Street. On the altered route, a temporary stop at Linnahall is made after the intersection of Rannamäe tee and Suur-Rannavärav Street.

Bus line No. 3

• On the Randla bound route: Suur-Rannavärav and Põhja puiestee. On the altered route, a temporary stop will be made at Linnahall after the intersection of Rannamäe tee and Suur-Rannavärav street. 

❌ The stop at Linnahall on Põhja puiestee will be closed.

Bus line No. 8

• On the Äigrumäe bound route: Suur-Rannavärav, Põhja puiestee, Mere puiestee and north section of the Ahtri Street. On the modified route, a temporary stop at Linnahall will be made after the intersection of Rannamäe tee and Suur-Rannavärav Street, a temporary stop at Ahtri on the northern branch of Ahtri Street, and a temporary stop at Siimeoni.
• The temporary stop at Siimeoni will be located in a modified position.

❌ The stops at Linnahall on Põhja puiestee and at Ahtri on the southern branch of Ahtri street will be closed.

Bus lines No. 20 and 20A

• On the Pääsküla jaam and Laagri alevik bound routes: Reidi tee, Jõe Street, Narva maantee, Viru intersection and Pärnu maantee. Stops at Pronksi and Hobujaama will be made on the modified route.
• On the Reisisadam D-terminal  (D-Terminal of the Passenger Port) bound route: Mere puiestee and the northern branch of Ahtri Street. A temporary Ahtri stop on the northern branch of Ahtri street and a temporary Siimeoni stop.
• The temporary Siimeoni stop will be located at a modified location.

❌  Stops at Siimeoni and Mere puiestee will not be served on the Pääsküla jaam and Laagri alevik bound routes.
❌ The Ahtri stop on the southern branch of Ahtri Street will not be served on the the D-Terminal of the Passenger Port bound route.

Bus lines No. 21, 21B, 41, 41B, 91, 92, 93, 96

• On the route departing from Balti jaam, the path goes along Rannamäe tee to Mere puiestee. On the modified route, a temporary Linnahall stop will be made on Rannamäe tee before the intersection with Väike-Rannavärav Street.

❌ The Linnahall stop on Põhja puiestee will not be served.

Bus lines No. 34 and 38

• On the Viru keskus bound route: Mere puiestee and the northern branch of Ahtri Street. A temporary Ahtri stop on the northern branch of Ahtri Street will be made on the modified route.

❌ The Ahtri stop on the southern branch of Ahtri Street will not be served.

Bus line No. 66

• On the Priisle bound route: Suur-Rannavärav, Põhja puiestee, Mere puiestee and the northern branch of Ahtri Street. On the modified route, a temporary stop at Linnahall will be made after the intersection of Rannamäe tee and Suur-Rannavärav Street, a temporary stop at Ahtri on the northern branch of Ahtri Street, and a temporary stop at Siimeoni. 
• The temporary stop at Siimeoni will be in a modified location.

❌ The stops at Linnahall on Põhja puiestee and at Ahtri on the southern branch of Ahtri Street will be closed.

Bus line No. 73

• On the Vana-Lõuna bound route: Põhja puiestee and Mere puiestee. On the modified route, a temporary Linnahall stop on Põhja puiestee will be made just after turning from Kalasadama Street onto Põhja puiestee.

❌   The Linnahall stop on Põhja puiestee will not be served.
