Ending detours:
- Detours end for bus line number 3, as Vana-Kalamaja tn reconstruction comes to an end
- Bus line number 40 will resume its regular route through the terminal
- Bus line number 58 will resume its regular route to Majaka põik
Continued detours:
- Detours will continue due to Vanasadama tramway construction works for bus lines number 1, 2, 5, 9, 11, 14, 15, 18, 18A, 20, 20A, 23, 29, 31, 34, 35, 38, 42, 44, 46, 51, 55, 60, 63 and 66
- Tram lines number 2 and 4 will resume driving as usual
- Replacement bus line number 52 will stop substituting for tram lines number 2 and 4
- Tram line number 6 will resume driving as usual
- Tram lines number 1 and 3 will be closed for service until 30.09.2023
Changes in Ülemiste and Lennujaam areas due to the Rail Baltic Ülemiste terminal construction:
- Tram line number 4 will make its final stop at Suur-Paala, instead of driving to Lennujaam
- Bus line number 2 will include an extra stop at Lennujaam, at the airport’s tram stop
- Bus line number 15 will continue stopping at Lennujaam on both directions
Self-driving bus to start driving in Kadriorg on KUMU–Weizenbergi route from 1-30 September 2023
Detours will continue due to Vanasadama tramway construction works:
- The route to Viru Keskus will instead end at A. Laikmaa: the modified route will include a temporary stop on F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street in front of building number 10. The bus will also have a temporary stop in front of Keskturg building number 22, at Tornimäe and at the final stop at A. Laikmaa.
- In the Viimsi Keskus direction: the modified route will have its new first stop at Kaubamaja, a stop at Tornimäe on Rävala puiestee, a temporary stop at Keskturg on F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav and a temporary stop on F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav after the Raua tänav intersection.
Bus line number 2
- In the Mõigu direction: the route will run from Toompuiestee, Kaarli puiestee, Vabaduse väljak, Estonia puiestee, Kaubamaja tänav and Rävala puiestee. The modified route will make its first stop at Balti Jaam on Toompuiestee, with additional stops at A. Adamsoni, Vabaduse väljak, Estonia and Kaubamaja
- In the Balti Jaam direction: the route will run from Rävala puiestee, Kaubamaja tänav, Estonia puiestee, Kaarli puiestee and Toompuiestee. The modified route will include stops at Kaubamaja, Estonia, Vabaduse väljak, Tõnismägi, Hotell Tallinn, Toompark and Balti Jaam
Bus line number 5
The route for bus line number 5 will temporarily run through Mere puiestee and Reidi tee instead of Narva maantee.
- In the Metsakooli tee direction: the modified route will have stops at Mere puiestee, Ahtri and a temporary stop next to the Hobujaama car park. On Reidi tee, there will be stops at Uus-Sadama and Pikksilma
- In the Männiku direction: the modified route will have stops at Reidi tee, Pikksilma and Uus-Sadama, a temporary stop at Siimeoni on the southern branch of Ahtri tänav and a stop at Mere puiestee
Bus line number 9
- In the Kadaka direction, the modified route will include a temporary stop at Keskturg on F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav in front of building number 22 and stops at Tornimäe and Estonia
- In the Priisle direction, the modified route will include stops at Estonia, Tornimäe and a temporary stop at Keskturg on F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav in front of building number 25
Bus line number 11
- The Kivisilla direction will instead end at Kaubamaja
- In the Kadaka direction, the first stop will be at Kaubamaja and there will be a stop at Estonia on Teatri väljak
Bus lines number 14, 18 and 18A
- The Viru keskus direction will instead end at Viru, with the final stop located opposite the Estonian National Opera on Pärnu maantee.
- On the Vana-Pääsküla/Laagri direction, the first stop be at Viru
Bus line number 15
- The Viru keskus direction will now instead end at Estonia: the modified route will have a stop at Lennujaam (tram stop platform) and the final stop will be at Estonia on Teatri väljak
- In the Sõjamäe direction: the modified route will have stops at Estonia on Teatri väljak, at Ülemiste linnak next to Keeviste tänav building number 10 and a stop at Lennujaam
Bus lines number 20 and 20A
- In the Reisisadama D-Terminal direction, there will be no passage through Estonia puiestee, Laikmaa tänav and Hobujaama tänav
- In the Pääsküla jaam and Laagri alevik direction, there will be no passage through Hobujaama tänav and Narva maantee
- On Ahtri tänav, the route has been moved to the southern lane and the Siimeoni stop will be temporarily located in the southern section of Ahtri tänav
Bus line number 23
- In the Bussijaam direction, there will be a stop at Estonia on Teatri väljak
Bus line number 29
- The route to Viru Keskus will instead end at A. Laikmaa: the modified route will include a temporary stop on F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav in front of building number 10. The bus will also have a temporary stop in front of Keskturg building number 22, at Tornimäe and the final stop at A. Laikmaa
- In the Iru hooldekodu and Priisle direction: the modified route will have its new first stop at Kaubamaja, a stop at Tornimäe on Rävala puiestee, a temporary stop at F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav in front of building number 25 and a temporary stop on F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav after the Raua Street intersection
Bus line number 31
- In the Estonia direction, the modified route will include a temporary stop at Keskturg in front of F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav building number 22, a stop at Tornimäe on Rävala puiestee, a stop at Kaubamaja, a stop at Estonia on Estonia puiestee and the end stop at Estonia on Teatri väljak
- In the Priisle direction, the modified route will make its first stop at Estonia on Teatri väljak, a stop at Tornimäe on Rävala puiestee and a temporary stop at Keskturg on F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav in front of building number 25
Bus lines number 34 and 38
- In the Viru keskus direction: the modified route will include a temporary stop at L. Koidula on Petrooleumi tänav, a stop at Uus-Sadama on Reidi tee and a temporary end stop at Hobujaama bus car park entry location
- In the Muuga direction: the modified route will make a temporary first stop at Ahtri tänav next to the Hobujaama car park and a temporary stop at Tuukri in front of building number 48
Bus line number 35
- In the Seli direction, the modified route will include stops at Estonia on Teatri väljak, at Tornimäe on Rävala puiestee, a temporary stop at F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav in front of building number 25 and a temporary stop on F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav after the Raua tänav intersection in front of building number 5
- In the Pelguranna direction, the modified route will include a temporary stop at F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav in front of building number 10, a temporary stop on F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav in front of building number 22 and a stop at Estonia on Teatri väljak
Bus line number 42
- In the Väike-Õismäe direction, the modified route will include a temporary stop at Keskturg on the F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav in front of building number 22, at Tornimäe on Rävala puiestee and at Estonia on Teatri väljak
- In the Priisle direction, the modified route will include a stop at Estonia on Teatri väljak, at Tornimäe on Rävala puiestee and a temporary stop at Keskturg on F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav in front of building number 25
Temporary routes for bus lines number 44, 51, 60, and 63 at the Hobujaama end stop
- The temporary final stop at Pronksi will be on Narva maantee in front of the building at Narva maantee 7. Following this, the bus will turn around before reaching the Hobujaama intersection, making the first stop Pronksi on Narva maantee for outbound directions
- Bus line number 44 will continue to follow the extended route in Lasnamäe, with the first and final stops located on the road leading to Peterburi tee 73a
Bus line number 46
- In the Väike-Õismäe direction, the modified route will include a temporary stop on F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav in front of building number 22, a stop at Tornimäe on Rävala puiestee and at Kaubamaja
- In the Seli direction, the modified route will include a stop at Kaubamaja, at Tornimäe on Rävala puiestee and a temporary stop at F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav in front of building number 25
Bus line number 55
- The Hobujaama direction will instead end at Estonia: the modified route in the city centre will include a temporary stop at Keskturg in front of F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav building number 25, a stop at Tornimäe on Rävala puiestee, a stop at Kaubamaja and a final stop at Estonia on Teatri väljak
- The P. Pinna direction will instead end at Gaasi: the modified route in the city centre will make its first stop at Estonia on Teatri väljak, a stop at Tornimäe on Rävala puiestee and a temporary stop at Keskturg on F. R. Kreutzwaldi tänav in front of building number 22
- The bus line number 55 will keep making its final stop at Gaasi

Stops in the Vana-Lõuna direction:

Bus line number 66
Route in the Pelguranna direction:
- The Linnahall stop will be temporarily moved to a new location after the Kalasadama tänav intersection, in front of building number 23
Bus line number 73
Route in the Kopli lines direction:
- The Linnahall stop will be temporarily moved to a new location before the Kalasadama tänav intersection
Due to the Rail Baltic Ülemiste terminal construction, the temporary final stop for tram number 4 will be Suur-Paala, starting from 01.09.2023 (approximately until the end of 2025)
- The Lennujaama direction will instead end at Suur-Paala: on the temporarily modified route, stops will be made at Väike-Paala and Suur-Paala
- In the Tondi direction, the temporary route includes stops at Suur-Paala, Väike-Paala and Pae
Bus line number 2 will begin making stops at the Lennujaam tram stop area due to the temporary suspension of service for tram line 4 around the airport
From 1 September to 30 September 2023, it will be possible to use the free self-driving bus in Kadriorg
The self-driving bus operates from Monday to Saturday on a two-kilometre route between 07:30 and 10:30 and between 13:00 and 16:00, with approximately 20-minute intervals. The self-driving bus does not operate on Sundays.
The self-driving bus is a joint pilot project between the Tallinn Transport Department and AuVe Tech OÜ, aimed at exploring the possibilities for using self-driving buses. The buses are always equipped with a safety personnel who assesses the safety of each movement and intervenes, if necessary. The self-driving bus moves at a slow speed and does not pose a danger to others in traffic.
Route and stops:
- The first stop is located at the KUMU building area on Mäekalda tänav, route: Weizenbergi tänav, L. Koidula tänav, J. Poska tänav, Weizenbergi tänav, final stop at KUMU on Mäekalda tänav.
- The route features six stops, each indicated by a temporary bus stop sign. You can find their locations on the following map.
