A stationary advising, vaccination and testing point opened on Vabaduse Square

The city of Tallinn, in cooperation with Confido, opened a stationary Covid-19 advising, vaccination and testing point on Vabaduse Square, that can be visited without prior booking every day from 9 am to 9 pm.

Deputy Mayor Betina Beškina said that when vaccination is easily accessible and accompanied by counselling, the vaccination activity will rise. “Already close to 6,000 people have received an immunization dose at the vaccination points opened since October 20, which shows the effectiveness of the service and proves the need to continue it,” said Beškina. “The advising, vaccination and testing point on Vabaduse Square can admit up to 250 patients a day. The first, second and booster doses are administered, and the possibility for a PCR test is offered, which is also extremely important to help break the chains of infection.”

At the Vabaduse Square service point, you can choose between all vaccines approved in Estonia, including the two-dose Pfizer / BioNTech and Moderna, and the single-dose Janssen. PCR testing is free of charge, provided a referral note, but costs €44 without it.

If for some reason it is impossible for a person to go get vaccinated themselves, they can call the vaccination team home. Pre-registration is available by calling 666 2727, the line is open on weekdays from 8 am to 8 pm and on weekends from 9 am to 5 pm. Patients are informed about the day and time range when the vaccination team will reach them. Home vaccination teams are doing house calls on weekdays from 9 am to 6 pm. The nurse decides on site whether the patient would be able to go to one of the vaccination points for the second dose or if they will receive the second dose at home.

Two more advising and vaccination points are operating in the Lindakivi Cultural Centre in Lasnamäe, and in the Kari 13 Administration and Community Centre in Põhja-Tallinn.
