Estonian companies to exhibit at joint stand at international property event

Tallinn City Enterprise Department is sending Estonian companies to the world’s leading property and investment event MIPIM, which this year will be taking place in the French resort of Cannes from 12-15 March. The companies will be exhibiting together at a shared stand.

MIPIM is one of the world’s most important international trade fairs, bringing together influential professionals in the fields of property, architecture, place marketing and investment from all over the world. Tallinn and local business operators have taken part in the event every year since 2011 with the aim of raising international awareness of Tallinn as an enterprise and investment environment and supporting entrepreneurs in entering foreign markets and raising investments.

The event’s participants take in the entire real estate value chain – investors, financiers, developers, architects, local authorities, management companies, hotel groups and more – and all asset classes from private homes through business, commercial and production buildings to major infrastructure sites.

Tallinn Vice-Mayor Aivar Riisalu says that MIPIM not only serves classic property development goals, but increasingly also goals related to place marketing. “Whereas for entrepreneurs the attraction in attending the event is the chance it gives them to interact face-to-face with other players on the market and monitor international trends, from the city’s point of view it’s important to make people more aware of Tallinn as a trustworthy investment destination, which is to say to ‘be seen’ by consultants who influence investment decisions,” he explained. The second day of MIPIM will feature a separate networking event at the Tallinn/Estonia stand, during which companies will meet with potential clients and partners.

A total of 14 companies will be exhibiting at the joint stand: AS Tallinna Sadam, Lumi Capital OÜ, Endover KVB OÜ, EstateGuru OÜ, Uus Maa Property Advisors OÜ, Northern Horizon Capital AS, BPT Real Estate AS, MTÜ Eesti Arhitektuurikeskus, OÜ Esplan, OÜ Lootusprojekt, OÜ Projekt Kuubis, OÜ Creatomus Solutions, Koko Arhitektid OÜ and Sirkel & Mall OÜ.

MIPIM, which this year marks its 30th anniversary, is one of the world’s biggest and best-known property events. Last year’s event attracted 3350 exhibitors and over 26,000 visitors from more than 100 countries.
