Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day encourages the implementation of audacious ideas

On September 28, Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day is celebrated at the Viru Conference Centre, both onsite and online. The motto of this year's Entrepreneurship Day is "Waves of Change", focusing on how the economy has transformed over the last two years.

According to Tallinn Deputy Mayor Aivar Riisalu, this year's Entrepreneurship Day is rich with more than forty different events that offer useful content to participants of all fields. "As flexibility and keeping up with the times is important in today's alternating world, this year's Entrepreneurship Day will focus on smart economy and rapid adaptability," Riisalu described.

The motto of the eighteenth Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day is "Waves of Change". Over the last two years, entrepreneurs have had to repeatedly ask themselves whether and how to move forward in a situation where the economy and consumer behaviour patterns have changed irreversibly. On this year's Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day, you can hear and discuss what changes have taken place in the business landscape so far and how we can adapt to them or shape them ourselves through our activities and attitudes.

The Entrepreneurship Day programme is dense and varied. The topic of online sales is discussed - how global platforms could help the international market for a product or service, as well as the possibility and necessity of development cooperation. Success stories are shared of how the digitalisation of services has increased sales by 1000%. Among other things, starting a business is encouraged and start-ups as an engine of the economy are discussed. The seminars are held in Estonian, English and Russian.

The programme begins on Tuesday, September 28 at 9 a.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. Because the sessions take place in parallel, the most popular events are broadcast on the web. Participation in Entrepreneurship Day is free for everyone.

In total, the programme includes more than forty events, some of which can also be viewed remotely on an online TV platform. The schedule and the online TV can be found at https://ettevotluspaev.tallinn.ee/.

On September 30, Tallinn's best companies and business developers are traditionally recognized, and this year's Tallinn Business Awards are presented.
