The biggest running event Tallinn Marathon this Friday to Sunday

The three-day programme offers running distances for all ages and abilities: 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, We Run Tallinn 5 km, and shorter distances for the youngest of participants.

The renewed running track will lead runners through the bohemian Kalamaja district, picturesque light traffic roads of Stroomi beach, Rocca al Mare,  the Estonian Open Air Museum, and Culture Kilometre.

On all of the three evenings, on Freedom Square, there will also be live concerts with beloved Estonian artists.

The programme starts on Friday with a 5-kilometre Nike Juniors Run. The start and the finish will both be on the Freedom Square. Friday’s musical part will be DJ Anton Must, Villemdrillem and Stefan, the latter of who gained a lot of popularity during the Estonian Song contest.

On Saturday, "Mesikäpp Run" is organised for the smallest of children. Registering for free through www.jooks.ee.

Optibet Autumn Run will start on Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Freedom Square and finish at the Viru Gates.

At 6 p.m. on Saturday there will be a live concert by Liis Lemsalu Band ja ensemble Kala, the latter performs a live show after 7 years.

On Sunday morning at 9 a.m. will be the start of the classical 42.195 km marathon, at 10.15 a.m. for the half marathon. Both start and finish will be at the Viru Gates.

12.30 p.m. on Freedom Square will be the awarding ceremony of the Tallinn Marathon and the Estonian Championship. Right after the ceremony there will be a live show by Karl-Erik Taukar Band.

All concerts are free of charge.
