The city of Tallinn invites you to the biggest flash mob of Estonia

On 15 May, on the City Day of Tallinn, Estonian Youtubers and the city of Tallinn organise on the Freedom Square the biggest flash mob ever seen around here. The event is also special because they dance to the new single of Karl-Erik Taukar and the entire action shall be filmed with drones from air.

The main goal of organising the City Day of Tallinn has always been increasing the sense of home city in the people of Tallinn. 2017 is the Year of Children and Youth and accordingly the plan is to bring together as many youth as possible during the City Day of Tallinn in order to organise a cool joint action together. Elo Eesmäe, city representative organising the event, comments: „Joint actions hide within themselves power and we want to offer the youth a big emotion and the experience of acting together. We have never addressed the youth with such a spirited idea, but we see already now that the event has been received very well and the youth are very excited.”

The YouTuber community of Estonia is represented on the stage by Nele Kirsipuu, Maria Rannaväli, Victoria Villig, Liina Ariadne Pedanik, Karlos Kolk, Kaspar Kolk, Gregor Lillemets, Rauno Raiesmaa, Martins Lapins, and Martti Hallik. The author of the dance, Nele Kirsipuu, said that she gladly accepted the task of creating and teaching the flash mob dance because dance always makes everybody happy. Especially when you can do it together with so many cool people. „I created a simple dance, so everybody could follow and join in. I believe that our big joint dance gives each participant a great experience and of course a cool video,” Nele said.

„Karl-Erik Taukar is about to come out with a new single and the dance has been created for this song. The song talks about friends and being together and it was obvious that this is just the right song on which to build the biggest flash mob in Estonia,” Elo Eesmäe comments.

The song itself lasts only three and a half minutes, but in order to learn all the steps, the Estonian YouTubers created a special learning video on their channel and they shall teach the steps to everyone on the spot, taking their time. The practice starts at 16.00 and around 16.30 the cameras will start and the biggest flash mob of Estonia shall start.
